Matt Aromando (Writer)
Matt is a comedy writer, performer, and filmmaker living in New York City where he creates sketch comedy for the stage and screen. He was previously a writer on the BoogieManja ensembles Attainable Crush (2024-25) and Aunt Colony (2023-24) as well as on the Magnet Theater's LiveWire sketch team Souvenir (2019-20). At the 2023 NYC SketchFest, he was a director for one of the 24-hour sketch shows. Matt regularly posts sketches and other videos on his YouTube channel (@mattaromando). His sketch, The Group Chat, won Best of the Fest: Video at the 2024 Denver Sketch Festival. Matt is trained in sketch writing by The Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theaters. He’s had training in Directing and Cinematography from the School of Visual Arts (SVA)
